Crazy Sunday, no surprise

By Dan Rodgers

So week 10 has not disappointed with the ridiculousness of what has happened, and since I actually have a prior commitment involving my fraternity I am just doing a quick rundown right now of what happened:

  • Buffalo survives Detroit's two-point conversion for a 14-12 victory. The Bills are 1-8 and the Lions have lost 25 consecutive road games.
  • Favre throws three interceptions and loses a fumble in a 14-point loss to Chicago.
  • The Jets survive three Nick Folk misses with a 37-yard touchdown to Santonio Holmes with 24 seconds left in OT.
  • Houston fumbles with eight seconds to go, Mike Thomas catches a Garrard hail mary game-winning touchdown pass that was batted into his arms by Houston.
  • Miami uses three quarterbacks to beat the Tennessee Titans by 12. Randy Moss was a non-factor.
In the late games:
  • Denver currently leads KC 42-17, yes, you read that right.
  • Seattle looks to extent 26-10 lead over Arizona.
  • Rams and 49ers battle in an important NFC West battle.
  • The Cowboys shock the Giants jumping out to a quick 26-6 lead, but New York storms back and is now down 33-20.
I'm hoping to be able to write about the game tonight, Pats @ Steelers, huge AFC matchup.
