Kovalchuk resigns with New Jersey

The New Jersey Devils have landed the biggest fish in the free agent sea this summer: Ilya Kovalchuk. I haven’t been able to track down terms of the deal yet, but you can bet that it will be at least 10 years, and it will be for somewhere between 80 and 100 million. Just when everyone thought he was going to the L.A. Kings, he re-signs in New Jersey. Typical. I hope for the Devils sake that he produces more than he did in the few months that he was there last year.
